Kashmir: Army JCO martyred in Pak firing in Rajouri's Nowshera

Jammu/UNI: A Junior Commissioned Officer of Army attained martyrdom as Pakistan troops resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence spokesman here on Tuesday said that on Monday, Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the LoC in Nowshera Sector of District Rajouri.

"Own troops responded strongly to the enemy fire. In the incident, Subedar Sukhdev Singh was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries," he said.
