Police sources said here that Pakistan troops violated the ceasefire this morning by firing small arms in Saujiyan area of Poonch.

The injured were identified as Hazraa Begum (50), Toseef Ahmd (11), Mohammad Rashad (7), Zareena Begum (35) and porters - Mohammad Afaraz and Mohd Ibrahim, all residents of Saujiyan.

''Own troops effectively retaliated to the firing, while intermittent firing is still on,'' they added.
