Indian Armymen help Kashmiri woman, her newborn baby to reach home
Srinagar: Indian Army officers helped a Kashmiri woman and her newborn baby to reach their home recently, showcasing an instance of how the country's security personnel help civilians when they actually need them.
The Indian army personnel helped the woman who reportedly gave birth to a baby on Friday morning.
The lady was experiencing weakness as she was returning home from a government hospital in Sogam where she gave birth to the child.
The woman was unable to reach her home due to unpleasant weather and snow covered roads.
No vehicle was even ready to take her home due to the bad condition of the roadways.
In that hour of crisis, soldiers from 28 Rashtriya Rifles came forward and carried the lady on a stretcher.
The soldiers worked together and took the woman and her child safely to her house.
