Mizo Chelsea Supporters Club gives financial aid to 14 families ahead of Christmas celebrations
Aizawl: Mizo Chelsea Supporters Club (MCSC) as part of its annual Christmas charity drive has donated Rs 1,50,000 to 14 families (9 families from the capital city, Aizawl and 5 families from towns where MCSC has our branch) who are facing hardships due to COVID-19 pandemic.
An official of Mizo Chelsea Supporters Club said that – “We are thrilled that there were 221 donors within hardly 2 weeks. It is heartwarming to see the joy of the donation recipents and the donors alike, all this is because of our beloved Chelsea FC .”
Since its inception in 2011 MCSC organize annual Chairtmas charity and other social actions like aids awareness rally, no plastic drive, thrashtag challenge and blood donation.
MCSC is founded with a clear Moto ‘to do good/charity/serve our society in the name of Chelsea FC’.
“Over the years our Chairtmas Charity and other events have grown so much so that with over 5500 registered members we are the largest Chelsea supporters club in the world,” the official said.
