Jammu and Kashmir: Awareness programme against drug abuse held in Ganderbal

Srinagar: Ganderbal Police held a day-long series of events on drug abuse amongst younger generations and the community as a whole.

The Mega event consists of rally, cultural programmes, debates, counselling, etc. According to a statement by police, the mega event was attended by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal, DySP HQRs Ganderbal, DySP PC Ganderbal, DySP DAR Ganderbal, SDPO Kangan, Sheikh Saba and Junaid from White Globe, District Information Officer, ARTO Ganderbal, Social welfare officer and other senior officers.

A mega rally was organised by Police comprises of NGO’s like “White Globe” & “Shugul” and students from different schools viz, RP school, Vijay Memorial School, New Dreamland school, Tiny Hearts, Angels Care Public School Safapora along with members of civil society.

The rally started from Darend Ganderbal and concluded at District Police Lines Tulmulla, Ganderbal.
