Kulbhushan Jadhav Case: India slams Pakistan for not implementing ICJ's judgment
New Delhi/IBNS: India on Thursday slammed Pakistan for not implementing the judgment of International Court of Justice (ICJ) to ensure that the charges against former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav can be effectively challenged in its courts.
Kulbhushan Jadhav has been sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on alleged charges of spying.
India has repeatedly accused Pakistan of not fulfilling its obligations on the implementation of the ICJ judgment in letter and spirit in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

"Government of Pakistan has failed to create an environment under which the allegations against Shri Jadhav can be seriously and effectively challenged," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said in weekly media briefing today.
"Pakistan needs to implement the ICJ judgement in its letter and spirit and this include provision of all relevant documents to the case as well as providing unconditional, unhindered and unimpeded consular access to Shri Jadhav," he asserted.
