New Delhi/IBNS: In a fresh attack on the Centre over the farmers' protests, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said the Narendra Modi government's trademark is "inhuman atrocities".

In a tweet, Gandhi shared a few pictures where the farmers were seen clashing with police personnel.

"Trademark of Modi government- Inhuman atrocities," he tweeted.

Following the violence which broke out in Delhi during the protesters' tractor rally on Jan 26, internet services in Delhi borders have been shut till 31st of the same month.

Police on Saturday closed the NH24 highway which leads to Ghazipur.

The situation deteriorated on Friday afternoon when around 200 people clashed with the protesters at SInghu border asking them to vacate the protest site.

The farmers are on Saturday observing a day-long fast marking the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, who used to believe in non-violence.

During an all-party meet ahead of the Union Budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the government's proposal to stay the contentious farm laws for 18 months are still on the table for the protesters.
