Jammu and Kashmir: Indian Army hosts awareness cum demonstration camp on snow avalanches in Baramulla
Baramulla: The Indian Army recently organized awareness cum demonstration camp on snow avalanches in Baramulla region of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Army officials trained villagers of Boniyar Tehsil with avalanche rescue techniques.
Special team of Indian army rescue unit demonstrated live drills in front of the villagers in order to practically teach them, reports ANI.

Avalanche unit of Indian army briefed local villagers about the rescue protocols that need to be adhered, the Indian news agency reported.
During the campaign, usage of various equipments, including chords, beacons, probes, shovels were also demonstrated.
