New Delhi/Kolkata/IBNS: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday arrested absconding Trinamool Congress (TMC) youth leader and businessman Vinay Mishra's brother, Vikash Mishra, from New Delhi's Vasant Vihar area in connection with its ongoing probe into a West Bengal-based illegal coal mining case, officials said.

Vikash Mishra, who had earlier been interrogated by the Central investigation agency, was produced in a local court and was remanded to six-day ED custody, according to reports.

Earlier on Mar 12, West Bengal CID nabbed businessman Randhir Singh, a close-aide of the absconding key accused in the case- Anup Maji alias Lala, from Andal in West Burdwan district of Bengal for his alleged involvement with the illegal coal mining and smuggling racket.

Besides ED and WB CID, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is also probing the case parallelly.

Absconding TMYC leader Vinay Mishra has already named in a charge-sheet filed by the CBI in connection with a cross-border cattle smuggling racket.
