Assam Rifles signs MOU with IDFC First Bank

Guwahati/IBNS: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Assam Rifles and IDFC First Bank at Laitkor in Shillong by Colonel PS Singh, Colonel Administration, on behalf of Director General Assam Rifles and Sumit Madan, Head, Branch Banking, IDFC First Bank under its Honour First Scheme.

The Director-General of Assam Rifles, Lieutenant General Sukhdeep Sangwan, and senior Assam Rifles Officers besides senior Bank officials were present on the occasion.

A brief on the Bank was presented by the Head of the Defence Vertical of the Bank.
               
IDFC First Bank is offering a zero balance Savings Salary account at an interest of six per cent per annum, besides cumulative insurance of 46 lakh rupees which is the highest amongst all public and private sector banks in India. In addition, free debit and credit cards besides a lot of other benefits are included in the understanding.
