Jammu, Dec 31 (IBNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday met Governor N N Vohra and said her party is in no hurry to form government in Jammu and Kashmir.

After the meeting, Mufti said that it was an informal meet and no decision has been taken yet.

"J&K has given a decisive as well as a divisive mandate. We have the support of 55 MLAs," she claimed.

Mufti told reporters that "PDP's priority is not to cobble up a majority for the sake of government formation."

Meanwhile, her father and party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed also continued consultations within the party.

The PDP emerged as the single-largest party with 28 seats in the 87-member Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.

BJP emerged as the second-largest party with 25 seats followed by National Conference at 15 and Congress with 12. Smaller parties and independents won seven seats.
