Kolkata: Fire breaks out in multi-storey, firefighting underway

Kolkata/IBNS: A fire broke out in a multi-storey commercial building in central Kolkata's Lenin Sarani area on Friday afternoon, reports said.

According to reports, the fire was first seen at around 12:30 pm. in a warehouse inside the building near Jyoti Cinema hall and the fire brigade was called in.

As many as nine fire tenders rushed to the scene and firefighting operation is currently underway.

Police and fire officials said that all had been evacuated safely from the building and no casualty had been reported yet.
