Anti-Covid-19 lockdown extended in Haryana till May 17
Chandigarh/UNI: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Monday announced the extension of the anti-Covid-19 lockdown in the state till May 17.
On extending the lockdown period, Vij said that a few rules have been added to the guidelines imposed earlier during the first lockdown.
Not more than 11 people can attend any public or family event including weddings and funerals.
The minister said that the Covid-19 patients of BPL families are being given Rs 5,000 directly to their account during home isolation, as during lockdown these BPL families are not able to work.
Vij also shared that a large number of Delhi patients are undergoing treatment in the state of Haryana and every patient is being given treatment impartially. The state has also recruited doctors, nurses among other Corona warriors for treating patients.
Additionally, he mentioned that they were doing good work and it should be brought to the notice of the society.
He elaborated that the Corona warriors also have families and are working very responsible at the moment.
