Ex-NSG chief JK Dutt, who led anti-terror ops in 26/11 Mumbai attacks, succumbs to Covid-19

New Delhi/IBNS: Former National Security Guard (NSG) Chief JK Dutt, who was known for his role in leading anti-terror operations during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, has died of Covid-19. He was 72.

He was admitted to a private hospital in Gurgaon.

The former NSG chief passed away in the afternoon after a massive cardiac arrest, said reports.

A 1971 batch Bengal cadre IPS officer, JK Dutt served as the chief of the NSG from 2006 to 2009.

He had also served as the Joint Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
