COVID-19 infected Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee's health condition worsens, hospitalised
Kolkata/IBNS: COVID-19 infected former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee was on Tuesday hospitalised after his health condition worsened.
Bhattacharjee was admitted to Woodlands Hospital after his oxygen saturation level fell to 80-82 per cent.
He is a Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patient.
So far, the former Chief Minister was in home isolation.
Bhattacharjee's wife Mira Bhattacharjee on Monday returned home recovering from COVID-19.
Bhattacharjee, a senior Communist leader, remained the Chief Minister between 2001-2011.
