Bangalore blast: Two IM suspects detained
Bengaluru, Jan 8 (IBNS): The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bangalore Police has detained two India Mujahideen (IM) suspects from Bhatkal in connection with Church Street explosion that had taken place in the city in December last year.
"CCB has recovered largest cache of explosives, bomb-making material and circuitry from the two IM operatives. Raids are still in progress," CNN-IBN quoting sources reported.
Presently, the suspected IM operatives are being interrogated.
On Dec 28 last year, a low intensity blast occurred outside a restaurant at Bangalore city in Karnataka killing one woman and injuring many.
The deceased woman was identified as Bhavani. She succumbed to her injury while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
