COVID-19 infected Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee 'improving clinically'
Kolkata/IBNS: COVID-19 infected former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is "improving clinically", a medical bulletin said on Tuesday.
Buddhadeb, who is admitted to Woodlands Hospital, is "presently conscious ,alert and talking sensibly", as per the bulletin.
The former Chief Minister was detected with the virus on May 18.
He was hospitalised following a decrease in oxygen levels.
Bhattacharjee, a senior Communist leader, remained the Chief Minister between 2001-2011.
