Mumbai/UNI: The Bombay High Court on Monday granted transit anticipatory bail to journalist Rana Ayyub in a case filed against her by the Ghaziabad police over a tweet which the police claimed was posted to create communal unrest.

As per the FIR, Ayyub is facing prosecution for uploading a video of an old Muslim man being thrashed and forced to say 'Jai Shri Ram'.

While granting the bail, Justice P D Naik gave four weeks time to enable her to approach the appropriate court.
