Punjab: Pakistan flag tied with balloons found near Hoshiarpur
Hoshiarpur/UNI: A Pakistan flag tied with more than two dozen balloons was found in the fields outside village Motia on Sunday.
A number '03218886182' and 'Lahore' had been imprinted on the Pakistan flag while 'DIL DIL Pakistan' had been imprinted on some of the balloons and some had heart shape pictures, police said.
Chabbewal station Inspector Pardeep Kumar told that police had taken the Pakistan flag and balloons in their custody.
Independence Day was celebrated in Pakistan on August 14 and it is suspected that after tying Pakistan's flag with gas-filled balloons someone had flown them in the air. Due to the blowing of air towards Indian side the flag along with balloons flown towards Indian territory and landed in the fields at village Motia. However, the police is investigating the matter as a precautionary measure, said Inspector Pardeep Kumar.
