Three doctors to conduct actor Sidharth Shukla's autopsy

Mumbai/IBNS: A team of three doctors has been formed to conduct an autopsy of popular television actor and reality show star Sidharth Shukla who died of heart attack on Thursday morning leaving his fans, family and the entertainment industry in shock, media reports said.

The autopsy of the Bigg Boss 13 winner will be recorded on video and the preliminary report will be released on Friday, reports said.

Siddharth Shukla was brought to Cooper Hospital around 10:30 am by his family.

Doctors, who had examined him on being brought to hospital, revealed that he had already died.

The cause of death will be known only after post-mortem, they added.

NDTV quoting police sources said the body will be kept at the post-mortem centre at night and handed over to his family at 9 am.

The preliminary report of the post-mortem is expected to be received on Friday.

The actor, who was a model in the early part of his career, acted in daily soaps like Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak.

He had earned fame for his participation in reality TV series Bigg Boss.

Shukla had also acted in films. He starred alongside Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan in the 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
