Army kills 3 terrorists in Kashmir's Uri, recovers huge cache of arms and ammunition
Srinagar/IBNS: The Indian Army has eliminated three terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Rampur sector near Uri along the Line Of Control (LoC), army sources said on Thursday.
The terrorists had recently crossed over from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) into the Indian side.
Following the operation, the Indian Army has recovered 5 AK-47s, 8 pistols and 70 hand grenades from the slain terrorists, said sources.
The army has also recovered 3+2 AK series rifles, 8 pistols and dozens of hand grenades from the three slain infiltrators.
In another operation, a terrorist hideout was busted out by security forces in the Tri-nari forest area of Aharbal in Kulgam District.
Security forces recovered arms, ammunition and eating stuff during the operation.
Search operations were conducted later.
