Yogi Adityanath likely to expand his cabinet today: Report
Lucknow/IBNS: The Uttar Pradesh cabinet is likely to be expanded this evening with six to seven new faces ahead of the crucial assembly elections scheduled next year, according to media reports.
The new inclusions are expected to be from across castes and communities that could potentially bolster BJP's chances of winning the elections against the odds posed by anti-incumbency.
NDTV reported that the new faces may include former Congress leader Jitin Prasada, who was once a close aide of Rahul Gandhi and his party's top Brahmin face.
Sanjay Nishad of the Nishad Party is also likely to be included as he expressed unhappiness after his son and MP, Pravin Nishad was kept out in the mega reshuffle of the union cabinet.
