Vatican City/Rome: Indian PM Narendra Modi, who is currently in Italy, on Saturday said he had a 'warm' meeting with Pope Francis.
Modi said he invited the religious leader to visit India.
"Had a very warm meeting with Pope Francis. I had the opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues with him and also invited him to visit India," Modi tweeted.

Modi is currently visiting Italy to attend the G20 Summit.
The Prime Minister's entourage included External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval as he arrived at the Vatican City for the talks.
He was warmly welcomed at the Vatican City by the senior members of the papal staff.
