India, USA reach agreement on nuclear deal
New Delhi, Jan 25 (IBNS): US President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reached an agreement on the civil nuclear issue, which was being held up over the stringent liability laws on the Indian side, according to media reports.
According to Indian mainstream TV channels, the two leaders meeting in New Delhi's Hyderabad House- where they were seen strolling in the lawns and having tea together- to work out on the bilateral agreements at a summit stepped in to break the deadlock though no official statement was issued yet. It is expected.
The channels reported that India and USA have reached an agreement to break the deadlock.

US President Barack Obama, who arrived Sunday on a three-day visit to India, is currently inside Hyderabad House in New Delhi to hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Crucial talks including one on the stalled nuclear deal was on the top of the agenda over a working lunch.
The two leaders will have an expanded delegation level meeting expected to last for about an hour.
TV channels showed Obama being presented with a gift by Modi at the Hyderabad House.
Earlier in the day, Obama was given a Guard of Honour at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
During his ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, he was given 21 guns salute at the President House forecourt.
He was received at the President's House by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The latter broke traditions to go to the airport to receive Obama.
The US President, who has arrived in India will his delegates and wife and US First Lady Michelle, said it is a matter of honour for him to be back in the Asian country.
"President Obama is honored to be back in #India to celebrate Republic Day and to begin a new chapter in the US-India partnership. Jai Hind!," the White House tweeted.
Obama met Indian cabinet ministers after the honour.
He will attend a state banquet hosted by President Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening.
Obama also went Rajghat to pay floral tributes to the father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi post the Guard of Honour. He was also seen planting a sapling at the Rajghat.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday welcomed US President Barack Obama with a warm hug at the Palam Airport in New Delhi.
Obama and his wife Michelle has come to India on an invitation by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend this year's Republic Day parade on Monday.
