Obama addresses gathering at Siri Fort Auditorium

New Delhi, Jan 27 (IBNS) US President Barack Obama will conclude his three-day visit to India on Tuesday but on the last day of his historic stay in India he is addressing an audience comprising Delhi University students at the Town Hall of Siri Fort Auditorium.
 
About 2000 people, including activists and students, have gathered to hear President Obama who began his speech shortly after 11 am and began with a Namaste.
 
First Lady Michelle Obama is also at the venue.
 
He reiterated that the relationship between the two countries is one of the most defining one of the century. 
 
He said the visit opens a new chapter in the relationship of the two countries. He expressed his happiness to be visiting the land of Gandhi who had inspired Martin Luther King Jr.
 
He also mentioned about Swami Vivekananda's Chicago visit and his famous speech addressing people of America as sisters and brothers.
