"If I was present in the parliament when PM Manmohan Singh said that minorities have first right over national resources, I would've followed Nathuram Godse, I'd have shot him six times in the chest with a revolver. #HaridwarHateAssembly pic.twitter.com/p5Li3gkPN2
An excerpt of the letter reads, "The aforementioned events and the speeches delivered during the same are not mere hate speeches but amount to an open call for murder of an entire community."
"The speeches pose a grave threat not just to the unity and integrity of our country but also endanger the lives of millions of Muslim citizens," it adds.
In one of the videos, a religious leader named Sadhvi Annapurna, was heard saying,"If you want to finish them off, then kill them... We need 100 soldiers who can kill 20 lakh of them to win this."
Though Haridwar Police have registered cases against three religious leaders, an action is yet to be taken.
