Battle for India will be fought in 2024 and not in any state: Prashant Kishor after BJP's sweeping victory
Political strategist Prashant Kishor, a critic of the Narendra Modi government, on Friday implied the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s success in four assembly elections this year will have no effect on the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Kishor has warned all opposition parties to be not a "part of this false narrative", as he claimed highlighted by Modi on Thursday, that the BJP's success hints at what the result would be two years later.
His tweet reads, "Battle for India will be fought and decided in 2024 & not in any state #elections Saheb knows this! Hence this clever attempt to create frenzy around state results to establish a decisive psychological advantage over opposition. Don’t fall or be part of this false narrative."

Saheb knows this! Hence this clever attempt to create frenzy around state results to establish a decisive psychological advantage over opposition.
Don’t fall or be part of this false narrative.
After a spectacular victory of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur in the Assembly polls, Modi, who as per the party leaders is the sole reason for such mandates, said BJP workers fulfilled early Holi promise this year and excluded confidence that 2022 results have decided the outcome of 2024 General Elections.
"I hope the political experts will now say that the result of 2022 has decided the result for 2024," he announced with a note of wit in his voice.

Not just the BJP's win in 2022, Kishor had considered the 2024 General Elections as a separate battle even after he helped West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress (TMC) to crush the saffron brigade less than a year ago.

Kishor had opined the 2024 battle will be a different ball game irrespective of the state election results.
Even a few months ago, the political strategist, who had helped Modi in the 2014 national elections, stated the BJP, be it in power or not, will stay relevant in Indian politics for decades.
