New Delhi/UNI: Delhiites Tuesday woke up to a pleasant morning as the minimum temperature plummeted by several degrees, a day after heavy rain lashed the national capital.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature was recorded at 20.4 degrees Celsius, seven notches below the normal, while the rainfall recorded during the past 24 hours is 18 mm.
On Monday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy with possibility of development of thunder lightning and light rain," the IMD said.
As per the weather department, there is no heatwave in Delhi in the next few days.
The maximum temperature will hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
