New Delhi: Delhi Police claimed to have made a major breakthrough in the killing of famous Punjabi singer Subhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moosewala on Monday when it arrested three people, including the two main shooters.
"Six shooters were involved in the killing of Sidhu Moosewala. Two of them have been arrested. We have also arrested a facilitator," HGS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police said while addressing a press conference here.
Dhaliwal also informed that shooters made several recce before killing Moosewala.
"The shooters made several recce before committing the crime. AK assault rifles and multiple pistols were used in the incident. The shooters also kept grenades as a back up," he said.
Asked about the motive behind the killing, the Special Commissioner said, "This is a matter of investigation."
He also informed that a huge cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered from the arrested persons.
