30-35 KG of IED recovered in Khonmoh Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police
Srinagar: Security forces on Tuesday recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing approximately 30-35 Kilos on Srinagar outskirts, police said.
They said the IED was found in an orchard during a search operation in Khanmoh area of Srinagar which was launched following an input about militant presence
“On a specific input regarding presence of terrorists in Khanmoh area of Srinagar, a joint ops (operation) was launched by Police & 50RR. During search of Orchards area, an IED weighing 30-35Kgs (was) recovered,” a police tweet said.

It added that bomb disposal squad has been called on spot.
“IED is being destroyed in situ,” the tweet added.
The IED was recovered two days after security forces recovered magnetic IEDs from a hybrid militant in Sopore area of Baramulla district.
