'Emotionally attached' Jacqueline Fernandez wanted to marry 'dream man' Sukesh Chandrashekhar: Report

New Delhi: Actor Jacqueline Fernandez, who hit the headlines for her close relationship with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, had at one point of time thought of marrying him and revealed to her friends that she had met her "dream man", media reports said.

Several state police and three central agencies ED, CBI, and Income Tax department are probing Sukesh Chandrashekhar in over 32 cases.

Her relationship with Sukesh Chandrashekhar surfaced as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) started investigating the money trail in Rs 200 crore extortion case.

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan national who has acted in a number of Bollywood movies.

Chandrashekhar said he was a big fan of Fernandes and he also told her that he was the owner of Sun TV along with his family. She should act in Southern films and as Sun TV they have many projects lined up, the agency said.

Last year, the actor denied that she had ever dated Chandrashekhar. However, her intimate photos with a prominent hickey appeared where she was seen posing with him.

India Today reported citing sources that at one point considered marrying Sukesh Chandrashekhar. She was completely in Sukesh’s clutches and had, with marriage on her mind, told her friends that she had found her “dream man”.

The conman had reportedly splurged millions on Jacqueline Fernandez, from gifting her limited edition perfumes, designer bags and outfits, as well as hiring private jets and more.

According to media reports, Jacqueline Fernandez admitted to receiving five watches, 20 pieces of jewellery, 65 pairs of shoes, 47 dresses, 32 bags, 4 Hermes bags, nine paintings and one Versace crockery set as gifts from the conman, according to the ED's chargesheet.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police, which is investigating the Rs 200 crore extortion case against Sukesh Chandrashekhar, found that the conman spent a lot of money on Jacqueline Fernandez and her acquaintances to impress the actor.

According to sources, Jacqueline had even told some of her friends that she had found her "dream man" and soon he will be in front of everyone, said the India Today report.

Now, the EOW team will interrogate her dress designer on Monday, said the report.  The probe has revealed that  Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given a huge amount to Jacqueline's dress designer and had also sent some dresses for her.

Jacqueline had become emotionally attached to Sukesh, the report said, citing sources.

But one day her hairdresser showed the actor a news article on the crime record of the conman.

This angered her and she asked Pinky Irani, who had allegedly received crores of rupees to introduce her to the conman. But Irani tried to convince her otherwise.

On Wednesday, the EOW interrogated Jacqueline for eight hours. During the interrogation, she reportedly admitted to have been in a relationship with Chandrashekhar for six months but claimed that she did not know about his activities.
