Maharashtra: Road mishap in Nashik leaves 11 dead
Nashik: At least 11 people, including a child died, after a Mumbai-bound bus caught fire in Maharashtra's Nashik city on Friday, media reports said on Saturday.
नाशिक (महाराष्ट्र) येथील रस्ता अपघात हृदय पिळवटून टाकणारा आहे. या भीषण अपघातात ज्यांनी आपला जीव गमावला त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांप्रती मी माझ्या संवेदना व्यक्त करतो आणि जे जखमी आहेत, ते लवकरात लवकर बरे होवो अशी मी प्रार्थना करतो.

The mishap reportedly left 38 people injured.
The incident took place near Nadura naka at Nashik at around 5.30am. The bus was coming from Yavatmal, reports Hindustan Times.
"We are still trying to ascertain the exact number of deaths with the doctor's confirmation," Nashik Police was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
"Three among 38 injured are critical," they said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi mourned the loss of lives in the tragedy.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah mourned the loss of lives in the tragedy.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced an aid of Rs 5 lakh to the relatives of the deceased.
