Maharashtra: 11 killed as bus catches fire after accident in Nashik
Mumbai/UNI: Eleven people were killed and 21 others injured when a private passenger bus rammed into a truck and caught fire in Maharashtra's Nashik Saturday.
The incident occurred around 5:30 am when the bus was moving from Yavatmal to Mumbai.
The mishap occurred on Aurangabad-Nashik road.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said the incident will be probed to ascertain the exact cause.
The Chief Minister also announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakhs for the families of the dead victims and ordered prompt free treatment for all the injured.
