AAP celebrating Manish Sisodia's corruption: BJP over Delhi excise policy case

New Delhi/IBNS: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lashed out at Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's massive rally ahead of his quizzing by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the excise policy case of the city.

Addressing a press conference, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, "The AAP is celebrating Manish Sisodia's corruption. It seems they have won the World Cup of corruption."

"The AAP is such a big gimmick party that those who came to fight against corruption has emerged as the most radical dishonest party," Patra added.

The excise policy came under the scanner after Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena recommended a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities in the scheme.

Sisodia with the national flag in hand held a massive roadshow disrupting city traffic, visited Raj Ghat, took blessings from Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi before heading to the CBI office.

Speaking to the media, Sisodia Monday said, "I am not afraid of getting arrested. I will be arrested for good work related to education. The BJP is scared because it is set to lose in the Gujarat elections."

"The way the freedom fighters were put to jail, I have been targeted in a false case. I feel proud of myself," he said.
