Narendra Modi reaches Kargil to celebrate Diwali with Indian soldiers
Kargil: PM Narendra Modi on Monday reached Kargil in Jammu and Kashmir to spend Diwali (Hindu festival of lights) with Indian soldiers.
Modi has been celebrating the occasion with Indian soldiers since he came to power in 2014.
"Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi has landed in Kargil, where he will celebrate Diwali with our brave soldiers," PMO India tweeted.

The Twitter handle also shared several images of Modi with soldiers.
Last year, Modi had gone to Nowshera to spend time with soldiers on Diwali.
It is after two years that India is celebrating Diwali without COVID-19 curbs.
Modi wished countrymen by tweeting on Monday mmorning.
He posted:"Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali. Diwali is associated with brightness and radiance. May this auspicious festival further the spirit of joy and well-being in our lives. I hope you have a wonderful Diwali with family and friends."
