Jammu and Kashmir: BSF unity chain in Srinagar

Srinagar: The Border Security Force (BSF) organized a human “Unity Chain” along the Dal Lake here to celebrate the 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Monday.

Inspector General of BSF Kashmir Raja Babu Singh graced the occasion as chief guest and participated in the event.

More than 2,000 people collectively formed the unity chain, holding their hands together and waiving the national flags.

Babu Singh underlined the importance of celebrating the day.

The event culminated with a show by the BSF Brass Band.
