New Delhi/IBNS: The Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to comfortably win the Gujarat polls while it's going to be a tight fight between the saffron party and Congress in Himachal Pradesh, the exit polls predicted on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set to sweep Delhi's Municipal Corporation elections, as per the exit polls.

However, in Gujarat, the AAP is set to finish third, as indicated in the exit polls.

The results of the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections will be announced on Thursday. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election results will come out a day before.

The BJP is likely to win its seventh successive term in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state, the exit polls predicted.

The poll of exit polls gave BJP 131 of 182 seats in Gujarat and the Congress and its allies 41.

As per Aaj Tak-Axis My India, BJP is set to bag 129-151, Congress 16-30 and AAP 9-21.

According to ABP News-CVoter, BJP will get 128-140, Congress 31-43 and AAP 3-11.

Times Now-ETG gave BJP 139 seats, Congress 30 and AAP 11.

If the exit polls are proven correct, it would make it the BJP's best performance since 2002 when PM Modi came to power in Gujarat months after the riots in which 1,000 people, mostly Muslims, were killed.

In Himachal Pradesh, the BJP is likely to survive anti-incumbency and win a record second consecutive term, the polls say.

The exit polls predict 35 of 68 seats for the BJP, with the Congress close behind at 29 seats. AAP may not even register in the state, say the polls.

As per exit polls by Aaj Tak-Axis My India, the BJP will get 24-34, Congress 30-40 and AAP at 0.

ABP News-CVoter predicted BJP with 33-41 seats,  24-32 for Congress and 0 for AAP.

BJP, which was in power for 15 years, is expected to get between 69-91 seats, followed by others 5 to 9.
