Melinda Gates meets Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, says she feels excited seeing India’s progress toward providing quality health services to everyone

New Delhi: Melinda French Gates, Co-Chair of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, called on Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya here on Dec 5 and said it was an exciting experience to see the country progress toward providing quality health services to everyone.

"As India takes over the #G20 Presidency, it is exciting to see India’s progress toward providing quality health services to everyone. Good to meet Dr@mansukhmandviya to learn about how the country is building a resilient health care system.@MoHFW_India@OfficeOf_MM," she tweeted.

Following the meeting,   Mansukh Mandaviya said: "Wonderful meeting with @MelindaGates. Happy to note her enthusiasm and efforts in the field of health, sanitation, gender equity, and digital agenda directed towards making our planet a healthier & better place."


The meeting takes place at a time when India officially took over as G20 Presidency.
