'Fix costumes or film will be banned in Madhya Pradesh': Minister Narottam Mishra on Pathaan song
Bhopal/IBNS: Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra on Wednesday is unhappy over the use of saffron costumes in the first released song 'Besharam Rang' from the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer film 'Pathaan'.
He also said that the film contains some objectionable scenes, and threatened to ban Pathaan in Madhya Pradesh if those shots are not replaced.
He said that the costumes and scenes should be fixed or deleted if the film has to be considered for release in MP.

वेशभूषा बेहद आपत्तिजनक है और गाना दूषित मानसिकता के साथ फिल्माया गया है।

He said the "green" and "saffron" colours of the attire of the cast need to be "rectified" along with the lyrics of the song as well as the title of the film, which will hit the screens next month.
He also targeted Khan, saying while the actor visits the Vaishno Devi shrine but he acts in films where women actors wear bikinis.
Mishra's statement came after the song 'Besharam Rang' was released recently.
In the 3:14-minute song, which was launched on Monday, Deepika is mostly seen wearing monokinis and bikinis as she offers love to Shah Rukh on-screen.
Shah Rukh and Deepika collaborated for the fourth time as an on-screen pair with Pathaan. The earlier three films were Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Dilwale.
The visually spectacular Yash Raj Films' action extravaganza, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and also stars John Abraham in the lead.
Pathaan is slated for Jan 25, 2023 release.
