Karnataka: Mysuru church vandalised a day after Christmas

Mysuru/IBNS: A church in Karnataka's Mysuru city was allegedly vandalised by some known people on Tuesday, a day after Christmas, police said.

The statue of baby Jesus in the St Mary's Church too was vandalised.

Police are tracking the accused who are on the run.

Police said the attackers had entered the church by breaking the back door.

This is one of the recent incidents where churches have been attacked in various parts of the country.
