Himachal Pradesh: Three drug peddlers arrested in Una

Hamirpur/UNI: Three drug peddlers were arrested by Una police last night in two separate incidents.

The police seized 109.62 grams of charas and 10.16 grams of chitta in two separate cases.

An official spokesman said that in both cases, the police have started the investigation by registering cases under the Narcotics Act.

He said that the personnel of Sadar police station were present patrolling and clue Burari near Chandralok Colony.

During this, secret information was received, taking action on which the police team searched a person on the basis of suspicion and 10.16 grams of Chitta was recovered from him. Police immediately took Una, a resident of Sagar Puri, into custody.

In another case, an accused hailing from Nangal in Punjab, the Mehatpur police team was patrolling and clue Burari near Bangarh.

During this, on the basis of secret information, the police searched a person and 109.62 grams of charas were recovered from him. After this, the police took into custody Akash Rana, a resident of Bhatoli and Dalwinder Singh alias Vinay of Nangal, Punjab.

SP Arjit Sen Thakur said that after registering cases against druggists under the NDPS Act, the police were investigating the cases.
