Police issue prohibitory orders ahead of PM Modi's Mumbai visit
Mumbai/UNI: Mumbai Police on Wednesday issued prohibitory orders ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the city on Jan 19.
Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Vishal Thakur, on the basis of vide powers conferred upon him, issued the order under Section 144 of CrPC.
Police issued the order banning the use of drones, and remote control microlight aircraft activities in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Andheri and Jogeshwari areas on Thursday for 24 hours.
PM Modi will be inaugurating multiple projects in the city including Metro Line 2A and 7 during his visit to Mumbai.
Rhe projects are worth Rs 38,800 crore.
