Indian NDRF teams reach earthquake-hit Turkey to conduct rescue operations
New Delhi: Indian NDRF teams have reached Gaziantep, near the epicentre of the earthquake that shook Turkey, and began rescue and relief operations, even as he named India’s mission there 'Operation Dost', said Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday.
" Indian @NDRFHQteams have now reached Gaziantep and commenced search and rescue operations," he tweeted.
" Wish them the very best in their efforts," the Indian Minister said.

India’s humanitarian outreach comes as the death toll in the Turkey-Syria earthquake has crossed 11,000, with nearly 9,000 deaths in Turkey alone.
