New Delhi: Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra will go to Bangladesh on a two-day official visit from February 15 to hold talks with his Bangladeshi counterpart Masud Bin Momen, a statement said.

FS Kwatra will fly to Dhaka from Kathmandu, where he is presently on a visit.

During his Bangladesh tour, Kwatra and Momen will review the entire range of bilateral relationships, including issues related to politics, security, water, trade and investment, power and energy, defence, connectivity and sub-regional cooperation, the statement said.

The Foreign Secretary's visit to Bangladesh is in line with India’s ‘Neighborhood First’ Policy.

Bangladesh is India’s topmost development partner and its largest trade partner in the region.

Foreign Secretary’s upcoming visit will further strengthen bilateral ties and impart momentum to ongoing cooperation in diverse areas, the statement added.
