S Jaishankar meets Australian PM Anthony Albanese in Sydney, discusses issues related to strategic partnership

New Delhi/Sydney: Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who is visiting Sydney, on Saturday called on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and discussed the bilateral strategic partnership, ahead of the Australian PM’s visit to India next month.

In tweets, the EAM said he conveyed the personal greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Australian PM.

S Jaishankar tweeted: "Delighted to call on PM @AlboMPof Australia today morning in Kirribilli House in Sydney. Conveyed the personal greetings of PM
@narendramodi."

"Our discussions reflected the full spirit of our strategic partnership.Apprised@AlboMPof recent developments in that regard," he said.

The EAM flew to Sydney from Fiji where he attended the 12th World Hindi Conference.
