Air India flight from New York to Delhi diverted to UK after medical emergency
New Delhi/IBNS: An Air India flight from Delhi to New York was on Monday diverted to the UK owing to a medical emergency onboard, media reports said.
The nature of the medical emergency is not known yet.
The non-stop flight was over Norwegian airspace when it was forced to make an emergency landing at London's Heathrow Airport.
The plane has 250 passengers onboard, said reports.
An Air India flight usually takes 14 hours to cover the New York-Delhi distance.
