Wake Up, says celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor as he tweets images of in-flight meal served by Air India to express displeasure
Mumbai: Popular Indian Chef Sanjeev Kapoor on Monday criticised Tata Group-owned Air India for the food served by the airline while he was travelling from Nagpur to Mumbai.
The chef posted images of the food served to him on Twitter to voice his displeasure.
The celebrity chef complained that he was served cold chicken tikka with watermelon, and cucumber, a sandwich with miniscule filling, and a 'sugar syrup sponge' dessert.

Air India was quick in responding on the micro-blogging site as the airlines replied: " Customer experience is important to us and we regret that we've let you down. Request you please DM the flight details, date of travel, and seat number for us to highlight this to the catering team for necessary review and action."

After Kapoor posted his complaint on Twitter, several other travellers vented their anger in the comment section.
A Twitterati said: " I got served cold sandwiches on bangalore mumbai flight today that was not even served in a plate, n best part after landing flight was held for 20mins as no ground bus to carry passengers to terminals @airindiain what an experience."
Another wrote: "Was travelling from London recently ! Pathetic service I have ever come across ! Boring travel; Entertainment screens just for name. Not working at all; Irresponsibly handled my luggages. Broke my suitcase and mishandled all of them !"
