Man asks Zomato if it delivers 'bhang ki goli', Delhi Police spreads awareness with a quirky response

The Delhi Police used social media platform Twitter in the most fruitful and amazing way this Holi to spread awareness about road safety.

The police advised people not to drive after consuming bhaang or cannabis, an intoxicant closely associated with Holi celebration in India.

The interesting advisory was issued by the Delhi Police in response to Zomato's tweet where the food delivery app jokingly said one 'Shubham' was constantly asking it whether they deliver 'bhang ki goli'.

"someone please tell shubham from gurgaon we don't deliver bhaang ki goli. he has asked us 14 times," Zomato tweeted.

Delhi Police was quick in responding: "If anyone meets Shubham.... tell him not to drive if he consumes Bhaang."
