Moosewala murder accused Satinderjit Singh 'Goldy' Brar among Canada’s 25 most wanted fugitives
Satinderjit Singh ‘Goldy’ Brar, an accused in the murder case of singer Sidhu Moosewala, has been named in the list of Canada's 25 most wanted fugitives, according to the Canadian High Commission in India. Goldy Brar is a key member of a gang run by Lawrence Bishnoi.The BOLO Program in Canada has announced an update to its list of Canada’s 25 most wanted fugitives on May 1, featuring Brar as one of the wanted.
The Program is a Canadian not-for-profit organization that amplifies police fugitive cases to increase public awareness.
INTERPOL-Ottawa’s Fugitive Apprehension Support Team (FAST) has added fugitive Satinderjit Singh ‘Goldy’ Brar as the latest addition to the Top 25 list.
Brar is the subject of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) investigation into the allegations originating from India. The offences committed in India are very serious in nature and merit the interest of police in Canada.
Brar is believed to be in Canada and represents a risk to public safety. He is currently under investigation but is not charged with any criminal offences in Canada.
Brar is accused of orchestrating the murders of Rajat Kumar, of Gurlal Singh, and is also suspected of ordering the murder of Indian rapper, singer, songwriter Shubhdeep Singh aka “Sidhu Moose Wala” on May 29, 2022 in India.
India obtained an INTERPOL Red Notice for Brar in June 2022.
The RCMP is dedicated to supporting its international policing partners and is working closely with Indian law enforcement to ensure that justice is provided to the victims.
Satinderjit Singh ‘Goldy’ Brar is accused of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and weapons trafficking.
Brar is accused of committing these crimes while being in Canada and is believed to be in Canada. He represents a risk to public safety and is currently under investigation, but is not charged with any criminal offences in Canada.
