Air India Express's first all -women Haj flight operates successfully
Tata Group-owned Air India Express (AIXL) on Thursday operated India's first all-women Haj flight.
The special flight was carrying 145 women pilgrims.
The flight was managed by an all-women crew in all critical flight operations roles.
The group tweeted: " Breaking Barriers, Uplifting Spirits! An all-women crew of pilots, cabin crew & ground staff, led an extraordinary journey on a special Haj flight. Every single guest on board this momentous flight was a woman, creating an unforgettable experience! "

The special flight departed from Kozhikode to Jeddah at 18:45 IST on Thursday.
The flight reached Jeddah at 22:45 local time.
